Lots of progress and not much sleep

Posted on September 15.

I've done a lot in one day. My goal is to finish all the back-end work as well as any layout type stuff, so by November 1st when this site is officially supposed to be done, I'll just stick to blogging and updating the static sections, without having to bother with CMS type stuff anymore.

As of now, I've implemented a guestbook, Technorati tags, done a lot of modification with the home page, and installed a few good plugins as well as some other stuff I can't remember right now. I also added a real blog post, just to make sure that it actually works.

Shout-outz go to caffeine for helping me stay on task. Otherwise I might have been distracted by a sudden fit of sleep. Things to come: spam prevention, layout tweaking, and content. Status: working with Wordpress is always fun. I know it's hard to believe that working with an application can be fun, considering that most applications don't do what you want them to, but Wordpress just works. I don't know why. It just does.
