A short while later

Posted on September 28, 2005.

I keep asking myself, what in the world is an Electrical Engineering student doing in Web Design? The student I am speaking of is me.

Today has been an overall good day. Besides the positive aspects of my real life (study non-stop since Friday for two exams today, well, yesterday… it's almost 6 am now) I've recently discovered two very important tools: BAStats for Wordpress, and Dreamhost's stats panel.

Simply put, I'm a fool for thinking no one was seeing my websites.

More on it later, but Liquid Designs is turning out to be successful. That's a big deal, considering that 48 hours ago I thought it might flop. See how important these stats programs are? I've been able to get an idea of how the site has been doing, and for being active for 4 days now, it's getting some attention. Clearly it's all about the power of the blogosphere (first time I ever use that word). Most importantly, it really is proving useful. It's been linked by 10 people on del.icio.us. I didn't expect anything like that.

There's a lot to come… I have a lot of redesigns to do, and this site needs a lot of work, and Liquid Designs really really needs a redesign, and my fiance has been waiting for her site. It will all have to wait, though. I really should sleep now.
