Maybe I won't bother with those free iPods

Posted on November 20, 2005.

A friend of mine had this on his away message. I don't think he will mind me sharing it here, since he never reads my blog. Sob story aside, read on:

"Yes, I GOT my free ipod.

It was not:

but it is currently frozen because APPLE SUCKS MY ***"

'nuff said.

This also made me think of all those iPod cases being sold on the net right now. iWood, iSee, iFart… (maybe that last one is made up)… it just reminds me of how my fiance's iRiver came with a nice, genuine leather case. Straight out of the box. No extra charge. And it supported photos, radio, recording, and even video with some foreign firmware. A whole year ago. For less. I can't say enough about it, I'll have to write a review later.

I'm coming from 9rules and I saw your comment.

I was going to say, maybe it’s about time that there be another network sister to 9rules. I mean, the only reason it hasn’t happened yet is there is nobody cool like Scrivs to do it. But say there was a sister site, 8rules or 9stipulations or something. I mean, how many more sites could 9rules hold? And why did Scrivs make the decision not to stop at 9?

    I think it's a bright idea really. :-)

    In re: to your entry.

I believe it's true. I have a friend who got a free ipod too. I am 1 person short of getting one. sigh One day! One day! LOL

btw, love your blog. Great look!

I think it is a good idea, but I can't imagine there is anyone like Scrivs capable of pulling it off. And I would hate to be the one competing with 9rules. Not that it would have to be competition. Just that it might end up that way regardless.

I would first and formost like to be in 9rules myself, though it looks like it's not happening this time :( Well, I've had this site for 20 days now, guess I still have some time to work at it.

I thought you were kidding when you told me about the wooden cases. Geez La-weez! I'm sure the people selling those cases are making a ton of money.

Wish I had thought of it first :P
