The only problem with client work is that it puts all personal projects on the backburner. I have about 10 projects just waiting, half of them unfinished and the rest not even started, until I finish with my work.
I think I would like to be a full time designer/developer. At least I don't seem to be tired of this yet. Until then, I'm thinking it would be a good idea to work with others on some of these projects. I don't know if anyone is interested, but if you want to get involved with Liquid Designs or Calico or even CSS Maze then let me know. Otherwise the lone star cowboy life will go on
oh man, I know exactly how you feel. Have you noticed how half of the sites in my "network" just aren't functional? Something's always coming up.
Hi Christian. I do know exactly what you mean with several projects on the go at the moment (that's what the christmas break from work is for surely?) but having said that I might be interested in lending a hand with Liquid Designs in the near future. Drop me a line if your interested.
Working with others is good for many projects. I have become involved in a number of online projects - problem is finding the ones you can dedicate enough time to. My current problem is juggling a full time web job along with freelance so I can actually live as wage not good in my location. There is so much I also have to do and want to do, but time is the problem. Time management is the unsung hero of web designing and development. Just remember that if you slowly get to projects it often makes them better so this time it takes might be benfiting them. Just also maybe cross your fingers nobody has and launches the same idea before you - I have had that done to me too many times.
That's exactly what I get worried about… but I'll live with it. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who feels that way.
Working alone means not having to set deadlines, or work with other peoples priorities. Lunch is from 10am till 3pm, showering & shaving can be put off indefinately, and sleeping is left till the weekend.
If only I could do web-development full time … 'Might actually complete a few projects!
Who am I?

Your work is inspirational and reminds me to spend more time learning!
