Montoya Design Center is back in action

Posted January 5 in Design.

I finally got around to installing a USB 2.0 Networking Cable between my parents’ computer and my laptop which allowed me to create a “Virtual Network” that allows me to share the internet connection between both computers. Which means that I now have internet access on my laptop, which means I am back in action.

Yes, I do call my laptop “Montoya Design Center.” I’m a geek.

So I stayed up late last night working on some things, you can see this site is a mess as I slowly work on it and I’m also working on Foxymcloud.com, which I’ll probably finish first. I feel my creative juices coming back, at least somewhat, and designing until 5:30 AM last night was a lot of fun. Did I mention I’m a geek?

Late night sessions tend to get you back in the flow if nothing else will. As it happens I had a bit of a session last night as well - www.morethanseven.net/atmedia2006 was the result.

Not bad I thought considering the conference was announced only a few hours earlier that evening!

Good example. It looks very nice.

I want to go to @media, but I don’t see how I’ll be able too. There’s the overseas plane ticket, and then I’ll probably be working this summer, so I have to figure out a way to take 2 days off, and then I have to afford it all… come to think of it, I really want to work in Europe this summer, so maybe I’ll be closer to @media after all. Someone give me an internship. I know CSS!
