Smooth scrolling in Firefox

Posted on January 22.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, but today I was messing around with the options in Firefox 1.5 and I found a "smooth scrolling" feature. If you go to Tools - Options, it's right here:

Under Advanced, Browsing, select smooth scrolling.

If you have ever seen those websites that use Javascript to implement smooth scrolling, you will probably like this feature. It doesn't work for on-page links, unfortunately, but it does work for the browser's vertical scrollbar.
