Macs identify Flock incorrectly

Posted on February 23, 2006.

BREAKING NEWS

Today we received word from an anonymous source (who goes by the handle “factoryjoe”) that Apple’s computers are failing to identify Flock as malware.

And I quote:

…the latest release of Flock is being detected as malware [only] on Windows and Linux machines.

Clearly this is a dangerous vulnerability. If you are a Mac user then you should probably call Apple right now and ask them why your computer is not identifying Flock correctly. Also, if you do have Flock running on your machine then you should throw your computer out the window before it’s too late.
