Life at Cornell, part 3

Posted on March 31, 2006.

This was the weather forecast according to my desktop widget at 8 pm yesterday:

Clear sky tonight, strong winds with 71 degrees tomorrow, rain and 54 degrees the next day, sunny with 48 degrees the following, and rain with 56 degrees after that.

What kind of cruel joke is this? How much more random can the weather get? The clouds must be thinking, "tomorrow I'm going to give them rain and snow at the same time. Just to have some fun with 'em."

Ithaca needs to stop being such an annoying place and just stay in Spring. No more Winter! We are in April already! Move on!

Cornell Days are coming! That means sunshine and warmth for at least a full week— regardless of what the widget or the meteoroligists say! :D

Haha, this reminds me of a cartoon in the Cornell Lunatic where "Armageddon" was predicted for Thursday. Good old Ithaca weather.

Also, I totally know what you mean when you say "it was hard to compete with child prodigies who had written compilers when they were 8 years old in the two Java classes that I did take."
