Worst design rip ever

Posted on October 24, 2006.

I know I have seen some pretty big design rips in the past, but I guess none lack shame more than spam sites. This is, without a doubt, the worst design rip ever:

There is just so much wrong with this… the "Rasta," the mutilated Windows logo, the combination of Google ads on a Microsoft design… it's downright awful. I only came across this because a spammer got past Akismet, but that's one out of 50 today alone, and the first in weeks, so I think I can let it slide.

At least they put in a tiny bit of effort to make it look like a real site. Even if it is a rip :/lol:

I agree, at least they aren't assaulting my eyes with a bunch of crap.

My issue with it is not that it looks terrible… obviously it doesn't. My issue is that it's redonkulous. Who the heck is going to buy "Rasta Search" or the cheesy black-and-green version of the Windows logo? That stuff looks downright stupid.

Um… looks like zooomr had a massive problem: zooomr downtime. Well, I'll just have to wait and see what happens.
