Sometimes I get carried away

Posted on January 10, 2007.

A new design is up at Liquid Designs. I didn't think I would get far enough to upload it tonight but I just kept hacking away until it was up. It's still in the testing phase so feedback is essential right now. Please share your thoughts.

    Interesting concept.
Perhaps you should make the design a little simpler, give it a little more whitespace and "clean it up" a little. Focus on the designs themselves.
As for text, try and contrast the header and paragraph text, and try and not use as many varying text sizes.

It's a good start though, I'd love to see it refined a bit more!
    Best of luck.

I like the color scheme, but the columns end up running together something awful. Also, I think the Italicize sub headings are throwing me off: At least on my work browser, they really chunky without anti-aliasing. Like Matt said, maybe more emphasis on the designs themselves could help break up the column bleed?
