IE7 adoption

Posted on February 12.

I thought I should mention that the computer labs at Cornell (at least the ones run by Cornell IT) seem to have upgraded to IE 7. I don't know how corporate-level adoption is in other public and institutional places, but I think we can expect IE 6 to die a bit faster than IE 5 did.

Damn, that sucks. They should have upgraded to Firefox.

The labs at Carroll College near Milwaukee (where I go to) still use IE6 I believe. But I heard an upgrade to IE7 is very close at hand.

I've noticed IE7 in the CIT labs also. Tabbing improves IE, but it is just a rip from Firefox. Kyle, some other labs not run by CIT already have Firefox.
