Various print media I designed for Cornell ESC

Posted February 14 in Design.

I just wanted to share some pictures of print media I designed for the Cornell Engineering Student Council. I know I don’t belong in the print world, and the logo itself wasn’t my original idea, but I did the whole process of turning it into a vector (thank you Inkscape) and reworking it for various applications. I wasn’t paid to do any of this work, it was just part of my job as technical chair this year. On with the pictures:

Cornell ESC Banner

The banner, and no, I wasn’t responsible for the hideous papers taped to it.

Cornell ESC Career Fair Mug

The mug, which could have used a bit more line-height.

Career Fair 2007 Booklet

The Career Fair booklet, which took a very long time.

For the whole story on the Spring Career Fair, feel free to read my latest entry at I Have Senioritis. Otherwise, you can discourage me from doing any more volunteer print work in the comments here. Thanks in advance.

The old saying, “You get what you pay for” certainly rings true with this one.

I miss my students days. Sigh

Ha, I knew a comment like that was coming!

Hey, I give you much props for stepping up to the challenge and diving into something you weren’t comfortable with. The ability to take risks is part of what designing is about, and how you grow as one.
