One of my Flickr photos has been featured in the newly released third edition of the Schmap Miami Guide. You can see it right here: Miami — Sites & Attractions — Coral Gables. I guess putting my photos on Flickr was a very good idea!

How did you know it was published there? Did you get a notification of some sort?
They contacted me to get permission to use my photo, most likely because I didn't release it under creative commons.
Oh sweet. That was honorable of them to contact you instead of just using it without permission. I am impressed.
I wonder how many people have that same Macy's photo lol.

It's such a photo-friendly site… which is obviously intentional, because every picture of that store that goes online = free advertising.
Does feel nice, doesn't it? I got a request from some online mag recently too. It's definitely great that they ask, even though all my pics are under CC.
Isn't there some Flickr or Technorati tool to check where your pics have been used? I think I have a feed like it, but I'd have to check.
