Last week I spoke to a zombie (or, an update on Blueprint)

Posted on August 25.

Last week, the strangest thing happened: Olav Bjorkoy replied to my email. Read for yourself:

Re: are you alive? > Just wondering. Hehe, yeah, of course. :) I've just been swamped in all kinds of work. Hate to see BP work beeing neglected like this, I should probably find someone else to maintain the project. Ideas? :)

Two things struck me when I read this email:

  1. That's too many smiley faces.
  2. Olav is not dead!

What matters for you, Mr. General Public, is that Olav is now transferring management of the various Blueprint resources to the rest of the team, so that we can straighten out all the stuff on the web and pretend none of this ever happened. And as soon as I can take care of some pressing things in my career life, I can get back to contributing to the project… think an up-to-date version of Construct, a better look for the official Blueprint website, and deserved attention for the liquid layout plugin.

Blueprint is definitely a promising project, and I'd love to see what you can do with Construct–It could become a great way to quickly prototype layouts.
