The Montoya Herald — ChristianMontoya.com
I've seen a lot of magazines & online news portals with articles about "how to survive the recession." I'm not surprised to see big media capitalizing on the situation, but I think I owe it to everyone to share my one thought on the subject. Whatever you learn in the next months (or even years) to get through this economic crisis, don't throw it away when the economy is booming again and you are riding high. Greed, gluttony, and lying got our collective society into this mess, and unless people learn to behave a lot more responsibly with their money, the cycle will only continue. That goes for individuals and big corporates alike. In short, people should always act like there's a recession going on; be frugal, be smart, and never spend money you don't have!
In other news: I know it's been a long time since I've written anything here, but that is because I've been forced to focus on some important projects and my work has prevented me from discussing anything. I'm going to have some good updates soon and you'll hear more from me down the road. Happy 2009!

I think you are absolutely right. Too many people forget the bad times during the good times. They think a recession is just a blip in history, never to return. It is too bad many people do not plan for bad economic times. If you were prepared, you could buy up a lot of really cheap stocks.
