I don't know why Uncov.com redirects to a Twitter search for Kevin Rose,

Posted on March 24, 2009.

… but I check that thing every day hoping that it might come back. Incidentally, I've realized that there are a lot of nitwits throwing themselves at Kevin Rose, hoping some of his fame will brush off on them or something. I can't believe some of the stuff that I read in those search results. These are just off the first two pages:

what do @diggnation, @alexalbrecht, @kevinrose and Barack Obama have in common? — Lord_Byron

They are all more popular than you?

watching @ijustine on TWiT live right now. first he had @kevinrose on sunday, now @ijustine (again!). so awesome. loving it. good company. — bobbyb_

Good company? You are sitting alone, in your bedroom, watching a show & talking to your Twitter "friends." Did you think your life would get this bad?

@kevinrose sup man, check us out, were lookin to network :myspace.com/chemistrywork — Siflikepiff

Whaaa?

In other news, my new application on Facebook allows anyone to vote on anything from Politics to Pop Culture. It's called, unsurprisingly, Vote. Make sure you check it out. I'm already addicted to watching the outcomes of the polls and reading people's comments. Also, after an unreliable poll of 184 people, Sarah Palin has a 34% approval rating for a presidency bid in 2012. That's what I call democracy! Could this be the next Gallup? Only if you tell all your friends about it!

sor: Use Wordpress to power your site, and you can have comment forms all over the place. You just need PHP & MySQL on your webserver to install it. http://wordpress.org
